It was the wedding that almost didn't happen. This couple persevered through postponements, indefinite travel restrictions, even outright cancellation...
And then, it happened. Ryan was granted leave from his deployment and given a couple weeks to "go get married"! We couldn't believe it when we got the call and were overjoyed for the opportunity to capture their special day at the Glover Mansion. Friends and family pulled together almost every piece of the last minute details.
We enjoyed the sweet calm moments as well as the celebratory ones as Heather and Ryan prepared for their wedding.
We planned Heather and Ryan's "First Look" at the outdoor big stone staircase.... but first, we had a practice run with one of Ryan's groomsman!
From there, we ventured around the mansion, finding all the lovely photo spots!
And then it came time to walk down the aisle. In the midst of closest friends and family who could make it on a Thursday evening, ignoring all distractions, Heather and Ryan said their "I do's" in the Glover Mansion's garden courtyard.
After the ceremony, we got some pretty fun photos with the wedding party!
And then, off the celebrate! Even though it was not the wedding they had originally planned for back in April, they beamed with gratefulness for the love that they shared and love that surrounded them!
